Oxidized sterling silver

Two, dark ellipses in silver create the foundational piece in this mod work by Biba Schutz. Along its surfaces, one can trace the mark of the maker as the eye follows its textural plane. Crossing a compelling line of space and proportion, Schutz inserts long silver earring wires, positioned to emerge through the core of the open, oval spheres.
