We updated our best selling French Workman's Jacket in a colorful range of herringbone twills. The traditional workman’s jacket was designed in the late 1800s as a practical, protective layer for the French working class to wear over their clothes, complete with numerous patch pockets to hold tools and spare parts. We designed our workman’s jacket to serve as a piece of outerwear, as well as a stand-in for a sports-jacket in a pinch. This garment features three exterior patch pockets and one interior hidden pocket, as well as a herringbone-taped front placket with anchor-engraved buttons. The cuffs have buttons so they can be rolled up for a day's work or if the temperature calls for it.
Lightweight and versatile, wear it on to protect against a chilly sea breeze or over a button down as a casual alternative to a sports jacket on date night.
